Local band students selected to the Bands of America Honor Band

Horizon High and Windermere High students will perform at Band Fest in Pasadena, Disneyland and march in the 2022 Rose Parade.

Local West Orange band students are making a clash across the United States. 

The Florida Marching Band Championships recently announced the newest members of the Bands of America Honor Band.

The Honor Band is selected once every four years. 

Both Horizon High School and Windermere High School students were included in the 18 members selected to represent the state of Florida. 

The band students will be performing at Band Fest in Pasadena, Disneyland on New Year’s Eve and also marching five and a half miles in the 2022 Rose Parade on Jan. 1.
