The Goddard School hosts toy collection, donation for Matthew's Hope

The local school donated over 150 toys and $300 in gift cards, while the owners of the school donated 80 books and $620.

The Goddard School recently hosted a toy collection to benefit Matthew's Hope during the holiday season. 

The local school asked families to donate toys for the nonprofit's Christmas Mart taking place on Saturday, Dec. 17. The school also donated a book for every toy donated.  

In addition, the school had a holiday market where children could buy gifts for parents, teachers or even siblings with donation proceeds going directly to Matthew's Hope.  

In total, The Goddard School donated over 150 toys and $300 in gift cards, while the owners of the school donated 80 books and $620.
