Town to hear annual ONP update

The Oakland Town Commission will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St. It also can be accessed virtually.

A representative from the Oakland Nature Preserve will give the annual update. The commission will consider a modification request to the Waste Management Recycling Service agreement and will vote on three ordinances in their second public hearing.

The consent agenda includes two items regarding Oakland Avenue Charter School, a funding agreement with MetroPlan Orlando, an agreement between the town and Oakland Pointe HOa, a rental agreement for the arts and heritage center, and the manager’s report.
