Whispering Oak Elementary mathletes compete in Olympiad

Two teams of students from Whispering Oak Elementary recently competed in the first Orange County Public Schools Math Olympiad. The students competed in individual and team events. In the individual competition, Allison Olsson placed second, and Miles Manwaring placed third. Both teams from Whispering Oak placed in the team competition, taking second and third place. Mr. Tomasek said he was pleased with the hard work the students put in to prepare for this event.
