Children's workshop paints Christmas countdown elves

About 30 children participated in the Countdown to Christmas Black Friday Workshop for Kids on Nov. 28 in The Art Room, on Main Street in Windermere. Instructors guided children from blank canvas through finished product in this four-hour workshop. The children drew and painted elves holding chalkboards counting down the days to Christmas. For the $80 fee to join the workshop, children received supplies and a lunch that consisted of pizza, apple juice, water and cookies of gingerbread and iced varieties.
