Gotha resident Peggy McNatt shared this early 1980s snapshot with the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation. It features a group of young Beulah Baptist Church members suitably attired for St. Valentine’s Day: Paul Daughtry, left, Kim Fleming, Karen Ross and Kevin Lindsey. The little white church on Beulah Road, in one of Orange County’s oldest communities, continues to be a lively and active congregation.

The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, which seeks to preserve our heritage and architecture while creating new cultural experiences, is celebrating its third decade with the debut of its new History Research and Education Center.
