+ WO player chooses UNC

Nolan DeFranco, a rising senior defensive end for West Orange, has committed to play his college football for the University of North Carolina.

DeFranco ended his recruitment after fielding interest and offers from several Division I programs, including USF, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Indiana, FAU, UConn, Boston College and more.

+ Hillman signs with Indians

Juan Hillman, a left-handed pitcher and a 2015 graduate of Olympia High School who was taken with the 59th pick of the 2015 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, has signed with the Cleveland Indians.

Hillman inked a contract and received an $825,000 signing bonus.
