Michael Bonneville, who in his first season as head coach at CFCA took the Eagles’ football team to an 8-4 record and a fourth-place finish in the Sunshine State Athletic Conference, has landed at Dr. Phillips as an assistant coach under head coach Rodney Wells and as the new head coach for the junior varsity team.

Bonneville played his high school ball for the Panthers.

“It’s going back to where it all started for me at DP,” Bonneville said. “Just being at a program where it’s near the top of 8A football, being around Rodney, who I started coaching under. I just thought to go somewhere I’m familiar with to take that next step.”
