A service was held May 25, at Veterans Memorial Park in Winter Garden, in honor of Memorial Day. The program included prayers, speeches and music by which to remember those who had died at war. Leaders of some of Winter Garden’s community organizations read the names of fallen veterans and designated wreaths in memory of World War I, World War II, the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War.
