Eco-Movie Matinee — 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Oakland Nature Preserve, 747 Machete Trail, Oakland. Bring friends and family to cool off indoors and watch an eco-movie after a day on the nature trail. This month the preserve will be screening “Journey to Planet Earth: The State of the Planet’s Wildlife,” narrated by Matt Damon. A discussion will follow the film.
