West Orange High School offered an evening of fun Thursday with the Homecoming Relay and Bonfire on the school campus. Students participated in various races that involved transferring Lifesavers with a toothpick, sending a Hula Hoop around a human circle without unlocking hands, passing a wet sponge down a line of people, popping balloons with their bodies and heading across the finish line wheelbarrow style. Winning teams advanced to a three-legged race.
Afterward, students headed over to the roaring bonfire, where the cheerleaders and Marching Band battery performed.
