Holy Family Catholic School celebrated Earth Day on April 18.
Students learned about taking care of the earth in a variety of ways. County representatives came to discuss recycling services, and students learned about what can be recycled. They learned about taking care of their bodies through healthy eating, and how to care for all life, from animals to the environment.
DreamCatcher Horse Ranch and Rescue Center brought horses to expose students to another kind of recycling. The center takes in abused or neglected horses and rehabilitates the horses to give them a second life.
