Foundation Academy recently hosted the ACSI Winter Garden Math Olympics at its North Campus, where 221 students from eight schools competed.

The competition tests students in grades 3-8 on word or computation problems, which is assessed through timed tests.

A number of Foundation students took home ribbons for excelling in their divisions at the event. Students who earn a high percentage score and a first place ribbon in their division also earn a medal.

The event is sponsored by ACSI, the Association of Christian Schools International, which is Foundation Academy’s accrediting board. ACSI students around the world participate in this competition.
