“The World’s Smallest Big Band” performs at The Garden Theatre this weekend.

The seven-piece group King Guys Band plays the music of the 1940s with fresh arrangements. In its show “Let’s Hear it for the Leaders,” the band will revisit music from stars like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman. The King Guys Band weaves humor into their shows.

The band officially formed in 2012, but the members have played together since high school.
