WINTER GARDEN In times of need, the West Orange High School Pantry is there to give students a helping hand. Now, the school is reaching out to the community with one request: Help restock the pantry.
“(The pantry) is in urgent need of some items for our students,” a Facebook post read. “We are working with our school's safe coordinator with permission from the new, wonderful principal, Mr. Floyd, to be ensure our kiddos don't go without!”
Items in urgent need at the pantry include: feminine hygiene products, canned meat such as ham and sausage; ravioli in cans and cups; and individual snacks such as pudding, chips, crackers, granola bars and fruit cups.
Other items needed include: Hamburger Helper, mac & cheese, chili, baked beans, rice sides, stuffing, oatmeal, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash.
