WINTER GARDEN  Matthew's Hope found a new home for its Firm Foundation preschool on Ninth Street last month, but that's only the beginning — now, the renovations begin.

The local homeless charity is about to start the process of ripping out the old fence and interior of the new preschool, located at 740 Ninth St., but it needs the help of volunteers to get the job done. Beginning Saturday, Aug. 27, at 8 a.m. and over the next few weeks, Matthew's Hope and volunteers will work diligently to transform the space.

Anyone who is willing and able to help is asked to show up with work gloves and closed-toed shoes, ready to work and get dirty and sweaty for a good cause. If you would like to help, contact Matthew's Hope at (407) 905-9500 or [email protected].
