The Legacy Charter soccer team is off to a 4-2 start, including an 8-0 victory against rival CFCA Nov. 18 during which freshman forward Isaac Titus score a whopping three goals. Titus has a total of five goals on the season so far.

What are the differences in play you’ve noticed between club and varsity?

I think Rush is a little more competitive, I think it’s a little harder. But high school is also pretty tough.

What’s it like to represent the school on the field as opposed to a club team?

It’s pretty sweet — it’s different.

Which game left on the schedule are you most looking forward to?

Foundation Academy (Dec. 15) — my brother, Jacob Titus, goes to Foundation. He plays football, but their season just ended, so I’m going to be going up against him and three other people I know on that team. I think it’s pretty exciting.

What’s the sibling rivalry like between you two?

We’re really close, so I’d say it’s just going to be fun. … I haven’t played with him for like eight years.

What do you think you’d like to do for a career?

I want to be a part of (the) New York Police Department. I’ve always watched the shows, and I’ve always thought it would be really cool to knock down cases and people who are not too good.

What’s your favorite food?

Sushi — I had it one time with my friend. I had never used to like it, but I tried it, and it blew my mind.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gotten?

From my coach, Mr. (David) Hill, he said, “Don’t let your mind take you away from the game.”
