Students, parents and staff of Oakland Avenue Charter School reverted back to the ‘50s for a night of “pony tails, poodle skirts and bobby socks” for the school’s Father-Daughter Swingin’ Sock Hop dance at West Orange High. The dance took place from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees were encouraged to dress in their best poodle skirts and greaser clothes.
They also enjoyed refreshments, face painting and temporary tattoo stations, photo opportunities, crafts, games, a raffle and a night of dancing.
