WINTER GARDEN Hundreds of children and their parents made a festive appearance at the 13th annual All American Kids Parade and Breakfast Monday, July 4. The parade is sponsored by the Winter Garden Masonic Lodge, Winter Garden Heritage Foundation and downtown Winter Garden merchants.
Families enjoyed a breakfast from 8 to 9:45 a.m. and got to put the finishing decorating touches on their bikes, wagons and scooters. Winter Garden Police set up a child I.D. table and other activities, such as face painting, temporary tattoos and photo opportunities with “Stove Top” the clown and “Uncle Sam.” The parade up and down Plant Street began at 10 a.m.
