3 things to do this weekend in West Orange

1. Aladdin Jr. 

You have three chances to see Acting Up Theatre Academy students perform Aladdin Jr.: 7 p.m. Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4; and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 5. 

A cast of 41 children ages 7 to 15 will steal the show, which features an actual flying carpet and hand-sewn costumes.

The show takes place at West Orange High School’s Ninth Grade Center, 12301 Warrior Road, Winter Garden. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for children 12 and under.  Tickets are available at the door or in advance through online purchase at www.theauta.org.

2. Food Trucks and Movie Night at Lakeview Middle School

Come out for food trucks and viewing of the movie “Minions.” The events runs from 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 5, with the movie starting at 6:15 p.m. Bring a canned food item for admission into the movie. Lakeview Middle School is at 1200 W. Bay St., Winter Garden. 

3. Stereo FM performs at Dexter’s of Windermere

Grab some food or a beer and enjoy music from Stereo FM, which performs a range of music from classics to modern-day hits. The music starts 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 3 at Dexter’s of Windermere, 4757 The Grove Drive, Suite 100, Windermere
