With the aim of helping veterans psychologically transition from war to everyday life back home, Camaraderie Foundation partnered with the nonprofit organization Wounded Warrior Project to host the 4th Annual Lake Butler Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 18, 2016, from noon to 4 p.m.
The afternoon was filled with kid games, raffles, swimming, ski shows and other activities.
“This other program we do are these family fun days where we just get together and have fun,” Anna Tanzilla, the program manager for Camaraderie Foundation, said. “This is a kind of thank you for your service.”
Camaraderie foundation focuses their efforts on providing counseling services and support to post-911 veterans.
