Dillard Street Elementary Principal accepts district-level position

Dillard Street Elementary Principal Katie Boyd announced last week that she accepted a district-level position at Orange County Public Schools. 

Boyd leaves Dillard Street Elementary after serving three years there as principal, starting in the 2013-14 school year. She spent 25 years working in education at the school level. 

“After 25 years serving in the school level, this will begin a new chapter for me that I am very excited about,” Boyd said in a Facebook post on Dillard Street Elementary School’s page. “I will miss all of the children dearly, along with wonderful staff, parents and Winter Garden Community. I have been very fortunate to have been able to serve as principal at such an amazing school and I am sure that Dillard Street Elementary will continue to excel in the future.”
