Keene's Crossing Elementary to host first 5K

The run will take place at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at the school, 5240 Keene’s Pheasant Drive, Horizon West.

Registration is now open for Keene’s Crossing Elementary School’s first Family 5K and Health Fair.

The run will take place at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at the school, 5240 Keene’s Pheasant Drive, Horizon West. Wristband pick-up begins at 7 a.m., and the 5K will follow at 7:30 a.m. Families will be able to enjoy a Health Fair before and after the run/walk.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the school’s Accelerated Reader, iReady and STEM programs; covers for the school’s playgrounds; and other school needs. 

Race fee is $15 for students and $20 for others before April 1. Those prices increase by $5 from April 2 to 20. All participants receive a T-shirt and medal.
