Obituary: Catherine Shane Worley

Catherine Shane Worley, 56, of Ocoee, Florida, passed away on March 4, 2016. Shane was born on Sept. 19, 1959, in Winter Garden, Florida, and graduated from West Orange High School in 1977.

She was also a West Orange Debutante and enjoyed crafting, cooking and antiques. Shane enjoyed motorcycles and owned a Harley, which she loved to ride with friends to Bike Week in Daytona. Shane took a trip with her family to Sturgis, South Dakota, for the annual motorcycle rally, which was a memorable trip for all.

Shane graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in alternative medicine.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Gen Russ. Shane is survived by her mother, Sandra Russ Worley; her father, Luddie Worley; her brother, Matthew Worley; her sisters, Rebecca Worley, Angela Austin and Lynn Wiseman; her son, James Russ Worley; her grandson, Gavin James Worley; and myriad loving friends.

A celebration of Shane’s life will be held Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the Jessie Brock Community Center in Winter Garden. Service at 2 p.m. and reception following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Fund in memory of Shane.
