Enroll in Head Start

Enrollment has begun for the Head Start program at Maxey Elementary School. The comprehensive early-childhood development program is free for children 3 to 5 years old.

Parents must make an appointment and take the following items to registration: child’s original birth certificate or passport, proof of household income for the past 12 months, proof of residency and parent or guardian’s photo identification.

Maxey Elementary is at 1100 E. Maple St., Winter Garden. The center manager is Vivian Jones-Burton, (407) 877-5020, Ext. 3612248; community service worker is Kathy Millsap, (407) 254-1979.
