OAKLAND Students at Oakland Avenue Charter School enjoyed getting down in the dirt and soaked with water at the school’s field day on Monday, May 16. Classes rotated through different stations, ranging from cage ball and bean-bag tosses to an obstacle course and water-infused game of limbo.
Kindergarten through second-grade students enjoyed the morning outside, while third- through fifth-graders got their turn in the afternoon. Additionally, fire trucks came by at the end of each session to shower off the students with their hoses.
