PHOTOS: Freedom drops close one to Kathleen -- Observer Preps

APOPKA The Freedom Patriots boys basketball team staged a rally in the fourth quarter, anchored by a dynamic performance by senior guard Geraldo Rivera, but could not overcome Kathleen High and ultimately fell 62-61 at the Metro vs. Florida Challenge Nov. 26.

Rivera finished with a game-high 28 points for the Patriots (0-1) to pair with 19 points from Cesar Barrios. Rivera also recorded a game-high nine rebounds.

Next up for Freedom

The Patriots will travel to Gateway (2-1) Nov. 30. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
