PHOTOS: TFA hoops tops Winter Park 54-47 -- Observer Preps

APOPKA In one of the more anticipated matchups of the three-day Metro vs. Florida Challenge this past weekend, The First Academy boys basketball team topped Winter Park — a Final Four team in Class 8A last season — 54-47.

Wake Forest signee Chaundee Brown led all scorers with 20 points. Greg Summers (14 points) and Elijah Jordan (13 points) also finished in double-digits for the Royals. Malik William tallied 12 rebounds.

Winter Park was led by a double-double from Florida State commit Wyatt Wilkes (13 rebounds, 10 points).

The Royals will compete this week at Winter Park's Rotary Tournament, beginning Wednesday.
