WINDERMERE Hundreds of people packed The Pines at Windermere on Saturday, Oct. 1, to help pack food for people in Burundi. First Baptist Church Windermere, Feeding Children Everywhere, Burundi Christian Ministries and the community partnered to pack 200,000 meals for Burundians.
Burundi is one of the poorest countries in the world, and the food will primarily go toward feeding children who may not otherwise know where their next meal is coming from.
