Obituary: James W. Swope Sr.

James W. Swope Sr., 82, of Winter Garden, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2016. He was the father of one daughter, Kathy Ann Dickey (Charlie); one son, James W. Swope Jr. (Lori); three grandchildren, Korrie, Gretchen and Wilson; one great-grandchild, Racen; and one grand-dog, Boot.
James served the city of Winter Garden for 25 years as the Water Superintendent, retiring in 1997. He was a lifetime member of the Hope Hose Fire Department in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, and was an active volunteer with the Winter Garden Fire Department during his time of employment with the city.

James enjoyed his retirement with gatherings at his residence of 44 years with his immediate family and friends.
