Police seek assailants in Park Ave death

Winter Park Police are in search of multiple suspects after 15-year-old Winter Park High School student Roger Trindade was found unconscious in Central Park Saturday night – the result of what police believe to be a fight that took the young man’s life.

The exact cause of death is unknown, but the victim's sister, Laura, confirmed with the Observer that her brother was pronounced brain dead, while Winter Park Police confirmed that he was taken off life support last night.

Winter Park Police Chief Michael Deal said during a press conference Tuesday afternoon that there are multiple suspects, some of whom are believed to be Winter Park High School students.
