DR. PHILLIPS The Dr. Phillips Panthers left no doubt Friday night in defeating the rival West Orange Warriors 40-3 and improving to 3-0 on the season.
The Panthers jumped out to a quick 12-0 lead, led 19-3 at the half and closed the game by outscoring the Warriors 21-0 in the second half.
Quarterback Marvin Washington threw one touchdown and ran for another for Dr. Phillips while defensive back Tanner Ingle continued his streak of scoring touchdowns on kick or interception returns when he returned an interception in the end zone 100 yards.
