Montessori of Winter Garden Charter School joined in the celebration of International Peace Day on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
Montessori schools around the world participated in a “Sing Peace Around the World” event, where each school filled a time slot to sing “Light a Candle for Peace.” They also celebrated with a peace pole.
After the event, students participated in a drum circle and took a yoga class.
