On Friday morning, March 31, some lucky students at Prairie Lake Elementary School got the chance most hardcore WWE fans would envy.
The students, who were this year’s winners of the national Wrestlemania Reading Challenge received the opportunity to meet NXT superstars Tye Dillinger, Ember Moon and Dasha Fuentes, along with WWE superstars Zack Ryder and Darren Young during a group book reading of Nino Wrestles the World” by Yuyi Morales.
The students were also given the chance to ask the famous wrestlers questions about their earlier lives and professional wrestling career, get their very own Wrestlemania hats personally signed and get their photos taken with the celebrities.
The WWE reading Challenge is a national program sponsored by WWE and the nonprofit First Book that began in 2008 and makes an effort to promote literacy by distributing millions of book to children in need. This year Prairie Lake Elementary will receive The 1,000 books.
