APOPKA In a matchup of top-10 teams in the state, the Dr. Phillips flag football team scored a decisive 25-0 victory over host Apopka April 27.
The shutout was the sixth of the regular season for the Dr. Phillips defense.
With the win, the Panthers improved to 12-0 ahead of next week's District 2A-3 Tournament. Dr. Phillips will host and be the top seed.
The Blue Darters fell to 10-2 ahead of next week's District 2A-2 Tournament, which it will be the top seed for, also.
