WINTER GARDEN A lively and enthusiastic crowd converged on the campus of West Orange High to watch the host Warriors take on the Wolverines — the brand new football program from Windermere High, the school built to relieve West Orange.
The Wolverines have no seniors (there are none on campus this school year) and only a handful of players with varsity football experience and it showed, as the Warriors cruised to a 70-0 victory.
Brenden Cyr threw five touchdowns for West Orange.
The Warriors open the regular season at home against Olympia next week, while Windermere travels to take on Cypress Creek.
