WINDERMERE The Windermere High boys basketball team arguably put together its most complete effort of the new program's first season Dec. 28 in the consolation bracket of The Rock Holiday Classic.
The Wolverines hit six three-pointers in the first half, led by 20 points at halftime and never looked back en route to a 69-37 victory over Georgia's Centennial Knights (5-7).
Freshman guard Trey Moss had a game-high 15 points for the Wolverines (6-4), with junior forward Dakota Rivers chipping in 14 more points.
Rodney Howard had 12 points to lead Centennial.
With the victory, Windermere will now face Windermere Prep in the fifth-place game at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 29 — marking the first meeting of the two neighboring programs.
