ORLANDO Chaundee Brown scored 35 points and Malik William recorded a triple-double as The First Academy Royals boys basketball team opened its new facility — the Cramer Family Field House — in style with a 79-52 victory over Admiral Farragut Thursday night.
The victory in the regional semifinals of the FHSAA Class 4A State Playoffs advance the Royals (26-1) to the regional championship Feb. 21. TFA will take on Seffner Christian, which easily defeated Orangewood Christian, 74-32.
William's triple-double saw him score 10 points, rip down 13 rebounds and dish out 11 assists.
Greg Summers added 19 points for the Royals and Elijah Jordan chipped in 11 points.
