All-Stars Preview: Winter Garden Little League 10-and-under team

WINTER GARDEN Eight players from Winter Garden Little League's Tournament of Champions (9U)  team that won the District 14 Tournament last summer are ready to suit up this time around as 10-year-olds.

Joined by four newcomers, WGLL's 10-and-under All-Stars team will be coached by Bob Cortese, Dave Ocasio and Phil Lore.

Together, the players and coaches are ready for action this week at Ocoee Little League, where the District 14 10U Tournament will take place beginning tomorrow.

“They all can swing the bat very well," Cortese says of his squad. “They’re excited and ready to play."
