Photos: Dr. Phillips' Raychel Trocki tosses gem in 2-0 win -- Observer Preps

DR. PHILLIPS Sophomore pitcher Raychel Trocki allowed just one hit in seven innings of work for the Dr. Phillips Panthers softball team March 27, leading the way to a 2-0 victory against Illinois’ Lakes Community High.

The win brought Dr. Phillips to a 12-4 this spring.

The lone hit Trocki allowed was a double in the fourth inning and she struck out three batters along the way, trusting her defense with the rest.

Nini Underwood scored first for the Panthers in the bottom of the third inning, reaching base on a double and then crossing home on a sacrifice bunt by Megan Rush. In the sixth, Dr. Phillips got some insurance when Gracie Lopez drew a walk and scored on a base hit by Kati Kelly.
