Photos: Ocoee softball scores big win against East Ridge -- Observer Preps

OCOEE Seven strong innings on the mound from Taylor Richards, paired with some timely hitting and baserunning, helped power the Ocoee softball team to an important 3-2 district victory against East Ridge March 28.

Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Kylie Stewart led of off with a single. Trina Epps then came in as a pinch-runner for the Knights and scored after a bunt by Oliva Zeisloft led to an error by East Ridge. 

On the mound, Richards allowed just three hits and seven total baserunners.

Karleigh Curtis scored twice for the Knights.

Ocoee is 7-7-1.
