Observer Preps Team of the Week: Winter Park High School girls cross country

Continuing a legacy of dominance, the Winter Park High School girls cross country team has once again captured the state crown.

The Winter Park High School girls cross country team recently captured the 4A State Championship – sealing their spot as our Observer Preps Team of the Week. This is the sixth state championship for the program and the third in the last four years.

Over the last 5 years the girls have finished either first or second. They won state in 2014 and 2015 previously.

Rafaella Gibbons led her team with a time of 18:22.56, ranking fourth overall in the tournament.
