PHOTOS: Windermere High boys hoops debuts with preseason win | Observer Preps

WINDERMERE The Windermere Wolverines varsity basketball team took the court for its very first preseason game Nov. 20, just around the corner from its campus at nearby Windermere Prep.

The Wolverines faced Cypress Creek in their preseason opener and defeated the Bears, 56-48. A day later, in the second day of Windermere Prep's Tip-Off Classic, Windermere defeated Foundation Academy.

The Wolverines will open the regular season next week. Windermere will play its first regular season game in program history Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Jones High in Orlando, before returning home Friday, Dec. 1, to face the Evans Trojans.
