WINDERMERE The Windermere Prep Lakers opened the Sunshine State Athletic Conference Playoffs in dominant fashion, leading visiting Bishop Snyder 28-0 after one quarter and ultimately defeating the Cardinals 45-6.
With the victory, the Lakers (8-0) will now prepare to face Orlando Christian Prep (6-3) in the Second Round of the Coastal League Bracket. The Warriors defeated Christ's Church Academy 40-0 in their own respective playoff opener.
