Ocoee resident Austin Remmers, was dressed as a stone turret, while his dog, Bella, wore a Rapunzel costume that won them first place.
Winter Garden residents Chris and Tricia Warrell and their dogs, Walter (dressed as Pennywise), and Norman (dressed as Georgie), won second place in the contest.

The ‘Three Little Pigs,’ (named Lucie, Ginger and Cameo) and the ‘Big Bad Wolf,’ (named Stella), were the source of many smiles and laughter as they made their way down the parade in an aptly decorated wagon.
Doctor, owned by Elizabeth Lamacchia, wore a lobster costume adorned with a Trader Joe’s paper bag.
Kona, from Ocoee, is dressed as a furry viking.
Husband and wife Brent Bartlett, (Stay Puft Marshmallow Man) and Heather Bartlett from Orlando pose with their dog, Ipso. The Barletts went all out with a Ghostbusters theme.
Two dog owners went for a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory theme, with one dog dressed as an Oompa Loompa and the other as Willy Wonka.

WINTER GARDEN – Pets dressed in comical Halloween attire participated in the Cause 4 Paws 3rd Annual Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest and Parade at the Crooked Can Brewery on Sunday, Oct. 29.
Canine owners clothed their precious pets in creative Halloween costumes, with some in wagons and strollers adorned with themed-decor as the final touch. But in the end, only 10 finalists were chosen.
The first place prize went to Ocoee resident Austin Remmers – who wore a hat in the shape of a stone turret and was wrapped in vines – and his dog, Bella, who was dressed as Rapunzel complete with a long blond, braided wig.
In second place were husband and wife Tricia and Chris Warrell from Winter Garden, who dressed their dogs as Pennywise the clown and Georgie from the film It based on a 1986 novel by Stephen King. And in third place was Winter Garden resident Sara Pepper and her dog, Dakota, who wore a classic ‘80s chick’ costume.
Some of the other costumes spotted at the contest included characters derived from several movies, including the Ghostbusters; The Three Little Pigs and the Big, Bad Wolf; the 1996 Disney film, 101 Dalmatians; Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory; Captain America and Wonder Woman.
All proceeds from the contest were donated to Orlando-based A Cause 4 Paws, which is a nonprofit animal rescue organization that accepts pets from kill-shelters and pet surrenders.
