HORIZON WEST Hundreds of children, many dressed in pastel colors and most toting Easter baskets, arrived at First Baptist Church Windermere’s Lakeside campus Friday, March 30, to participate in the church’s egg hunt and Easter celebration. Though the hunt was supposed to begin at 6:30 p.m., excited children bolted to the field 20 minutes early for their chance to grab some of the 25,000 eggs scattered on the lawn. Families also enjoyed inflatable games, music and dancing and an assortment of food trucks.
