The Windermere Prep baseball team improved to 11-7 on the season April 11 with a 3-2 victory over Central Pointe Christian.
Michael Bacica got the start and earned the win for the Lakers, pitching three scoreless innings while striking out six batters.
The Lakers scored all three of their runs in the first and second innings and a trio of relief pitchers (Tyler Kousaie, Logan Morris and Jake Janata) helped close the door on a rally attempt by Central Pointe.
Dylan Adams and Devon McCall each had an RBI apiece for Windermere Prep.
