HORIZON WEST More than 100 children rolled into the Keene’s Crossing Elementary parking lot — riding bicycles of all sizes, themes and colors — on Saturday, Aug. 11, for a bike rodeo. The school partnered with certified bicycle trainers and helmet fitters for a morning focused on teaching local children bike safety. Those in attendance received helmet fittings, got their bikes checked out and fixed by representatives from Winter Garden Wheel Works and participated in a bike-safety course. Local businesses donated 10 bikes that were raffled off.
