Obituary: Amy J. Lindsey

Amy J. Lindsey, age 49, of Ocoee, passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2018.

She was born on May 26, 1969, in Orlando. She was a lifelong resident of Ocoee and was a member of Starke Lake Baptist Church.

Amy was very devoted to her family. She was extremely patriotic and had a deep love of her country, especially the military. She was also a big fan of the Florida Gators.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Lindsey, and her grandparents, H.B. and Gladys McCoy.

She is survived by her daughter, Brooke; her parents, Martha and Larry Herrington; her sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Brian Hendrix; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Visitation for Amy is from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, at Starke Lake Baptist Church, Ocoee. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., also at the church, with Pastor Jeff Pritchard officiating. Interment will be at the Ocoee Cemetery.
