Obituary: Brooke Ann Robinson

Brooke Ann Robinson, 39, of Groveland, Florida, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018.

She was born in Orlando, Florida, on Feb. 13, 1979, to Linda (Steadward) and James W. Robinson Jr.

Brooke was named after baseball player Brooks Robinson and grew up playing softball under her dad’s coaching. As an adult, she found professional success in sales and hospitality. 

Wherever she was, she lit up the room and encouraged laughter out of everyone. Brooke had a knack for buying the perfect funny cards for those she loved that captured the moment perfectly and pulled in her own brand of humor.

Brooke also served her community with Meals on Wheels, probably wearing purple.

She will be greatly missed.

Brooke is survived by her daughter, Alexis Robinson; her mother, Linda A. Steadward; her father and stepmother, James W. and Melissa Robinson; her siblings, Pamela Dalbow (Erik), Steven Nelson, Michael Robinson (Beverly), Michelle Fricker (Jeff) and Lori Cellasid (Jim); and several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
